सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी सरकार में मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार की चर्चाएं एक बार फिर शुरू हो गईं हैं। कैबिनेट विस्तार को लेकर बीजेपी विधायकों की दिल की धड़कने भी तेज हो गईं हैं। राजनीतिक सूत्रों की बात मानें तो सीएम धामी की कैबिनेट में जगह पानी के लिए भाजपा विधायकों ने लॉबिंग शुरू कर दी है।
आपको बता दें कि धामी मंत्रिमंडल में चार पद रिक्त चल रहे हैं। कैबिनेट विस्तार की अटकलों के बीच सियासी पारा एक बार फिर चढ़ गया है। हालांकि, कई दफा उत्तराखंड में कैबिनेट विस्तार को लेकर तेजी से सुगबुगाहट भी होती रही, लेकिन अभी तक यह मुकाम पर नहीं पहुंच पाया।
पिछले दिनों कुमाऊं भ्रमण पर गए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर धामी कैबिनेट विस्तार के संकेत दे चुके हैं। ऐसे में माना जा रहा है कि दशहरा या दिवाली तक कैबिनेट विस्तार संभव है। दरअसल, अगले साल फरवरी तक लोकसभा चुनाव की आचार संहिता भी लग सकती है।
लिहाजा भाजपा हाईकमान भी चाहेगा कि कैबिनेट विस्तार जल्द हो । ऐसे होने पर लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के लिए मंत्रियों को चुनावी मोर्चे पर लगाया जा सके। भाजपा खेमे में चर्चा है कि कैबिनट विस्तार जब भी होगा, उसमें हरिद्वार, नैनीताल और पिथौरागढ़ से प्रतिनिधितत्व मिल सकता है।
